ABOUT THE ARTIST
Patrick Mahoney started drawing as soon as he could hold a pencil. A
steady stream of public and private lessons cultivated his talents,
while growing up in southern California and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He started winning awards for his artwork while in high school, and
sold his first painting before he graduated. After getting his diploma,
he attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design in
Denver, Colorado.
Patrick's inspiration comes from music and a desire to capture the
perfection of nature’s beauty. Able to paint in any style,
Patrick's early career focused on
photo-realism. Today he uses his talents to create minimalistic
elegance in his abstract and impressionistic
pieces. One can see from reviewing his body of work, that he is a truly
versatile artist.
Currently self-employed, Patrick creates new originals and duplicates
them for his wholesale clients (we call them Reproroginals), while producing a steady stream of
commissioned artwork for individual clients. To date, Patrick has sold
over 10,000 paintings.
